  • Designing and translating into English the core curriculum for teaching programming at primary school; joint and coherent core curriculum for teaching programming at primary school forms basis for subsequent activities that will be implemented by project partners.
  • Additionally, JYVASKYLAN YLIOPISTO will be responsible for translating the project materials into Finnish (2 textbooks, Internet platform, 50 lesson plans, dissemination materials).

I. Osnovna škola Čakovec

About l. Osnovna škola Čakovec

Located in the north-western part of Croatia, near the Slovenian and the Hungarian border, l. Osnovna škola Čakovec is the oldest and the biggest primary school in the region. The school is currently part of many international projects like Erasmus+, eTwinning, e-school, etc. The school is well-computer equipped, various programming tools are used in the class,  pupils are constantly encouraged to learn how to program and use ready-made software, research, plan and create their own social media. The school has a very good cooperation with Microsoft and Apple; thus, the school has the status of an Apple partner in education. Great importance of education in the fields of mathematics, programming and robotics is emphasised. The pupils’ performance in numerous competitions, including informatics, contribute to high ranking of the school in the region and country.  The teachers and pupils’ work outcomes are regularly presented in public, at various regional, state and international conferences, for which the pupils and their mentors have won many awards and acknowledgments. The school community appreciates European values and is open to new ideas coming from educational staff from all over Europe.

  • Preparation of 50 tested model lesson plans that will be coherent with the core curriculum for teaching programming at primary school.
  • Additionally, I Osnovna Szkola Cakovec will be responsible for translating the project materials into Croatian (core curriculum for teaching programming at primary school, dissemination materials).
  • Project materials dissemination through available channels.

  • O3 - Preparation of 2 textbooks for teaching programming at primary school: one for grades 1-4 and the other one for grades 5-9 (in 4 languages of the project partners and in English);
  • O4 – Creation of an Internet platform to support teaching programming at primary school (including didactic materials for teaching programming in 4 languages of the project partners and in English).
  • Project materials dissemination through available channels.

About Zamojskie Towarzystwo Oświatowe

Zamojskie Towarzystwo Oświatowe (Zamość Educational Association_ZTO) is an association running non-public schools. The European Union Schools (Zespół Szkół Społecznych im. Unii Europejskiej) comprise primary and secondary schools, providing education to students aged 6-19. Providing high standards of education has always been the priority of ZTO’s activity and top positions of the schools in the regional and nationwide rankings prove its effectiveness. In order to continuously improve the level of its educational activity, ZTO gets involved in individual curriculum creation, special educational support activities, close cooperation with local institutions to provide additional practice in students’ future career-related fields and international cooperation. The association running the school has experience in implementing innovative projects, including international ones. The employees are experienced in coordinating Erasmus+ KA2 and the teachers involved are skilled at effective work organisation on international ground.

  • Preparation of the concept of testing, to test the core curriculum, lesson plans, textbooks and the Internet platform involving at least 200 students and 20 teachers.
  • The testing process to be used as an evaluation of designed teaching tools.
  • ZTO will be responsible for translating the project materials into Polish (core curriculum for teaching programming at primary school, 2 textbooks, Internet platform, 50 lesson plans).

Agrupamento de Escolas de Fornos de Algodres

About Agrupamento de Escolas de Fornos de Algodres

Agrupamento de Escolas de Fornos de Algodres (AEFA) school complex consists of kindergarten, primary school and secondary school located in the municipality of Fornos de Algodres in the Guarda region. Despite its location in an economically difficult part of the region, the school takes high positions in the nationwide rankings. The school team is very active in Erasmus + projects, coordinating some of them.  AEFA operates under supervision of the Ministry of Education and meets the criteria of work quality set by the Chief Education Inspectorate. AEFA cooperates with ‘EduFor Innov @ tive Classroom Lab’  which allows for exchange of information and building an educational network that includes students, teachers and parents. While setting high standards of education , the school promotes real equality of opportunities that allows for educational success of students. Involvement in international cooperation aims at development of key competences and innovation of educational process. The cooperation on the programming curriculum and materials, will correspond with the school’s bonds with other educational institutions to disseminate and develop the project.

Leader of Dissemination process:

  • Working out and implementing strategy for disseminating project results within European Union. Project materials dissemination through available channels.
  • Agrupamento de Escolas de Fornos de Algodres will cooperate with Zamojskie Towarzystwo Oswiatowe in testing out the project results.
  • The dissemination process will consist in an international conference, press conferences, professional press releases, brochures, and virtual activities
  • Agrupamento de Escolas de Fornos de Algodres will also translate the project materials into Portuguese (core curriculum for teaching programming at primary school, 2 textbooks, Internet platform, 50 lesson plans).
  • The Partner will contribute to the creation of all the Intellectual Outputs under the project.
